THE HOTEL CHAINS IN GLOBALIZATION PROCESS
International tourism presents major factor in the world economic exchange. Large multinational companies in tourism considerably contribute to the process and characteristics of a global business orientation.
The beginning of the twenty-first century experienced essential changes affecting the hotel industry. Ownership restructuring within hotel companies has affected tourism market restructuring. A handful of the international hotel chains have influenced development and business strategy of national and regional hotel chains. This paper deals with characteristics of the development hotel chains in global conditions.
